Do I need to be in shape before starting CrossFit?
Nope. That’s what we’re here for. Our classes are fully coached and scalable, meaning workouts are adjusted to your fitness level, experience, and any limitations. You start where you are and build from there.
I’m nervous / intimidated. Is CrossFit intense?
It can be challenging, but it’s never intimidating here. Our community is supportive and welcoming, and everyone is focused on their own workout. You’ll be encouraged—not judged.
Can I modify workouts for injuries or limitations?
Absolutely. Modifications are normal and encouraged. Our coaches will help you find options that allow you to train safely while still getting a great workout.
What if I’ve never lifted weights before?
That’s completely fine. We teach everything from the ground up and focus on technique before adding load. Many of our members started with no lifting experience at all.
What should I bring to my first class?
Comfortable workout clothes, athletic shoes, a water bottle, and an open mind. We’ll take care of the rest.
Is CrossFit safe?
Yes—when it’s coached well. Safety and long-term health are a priority at CrossFit SanTan. Our coaches teach proper movement, help you choose appropriate weights, and encourage smart progress so you can train consistently and stay injury-free.
What does a typical class look like?
Classes include a warm-up, skill or strength work, a workout, and a cool-down. Coaches explain everything and guide you through each part so you always know what you’re doing.
How many days per week should I come?
Most members see great results training 3–5 days per week. We’ll help you find a schedule that fits your life and supports recovery.
How is CrossFit different from a regular gym?
You don’t work out alone. Every class is coached, programmed for results, and done alongside a supportive community. You show up, we guide you, and the results follow.
Do you offer a trial or intro period?
Yes! We offer a free week so you can experience our coaching, community, and classes before committing.
